Banner Finance Data Review

This 3 hour course, taught by NMSU Training and Development, will familiarize participants with the various options available in the Banner Finance module to research information on purchase orders and vendors, conduct general budget queries, look up chart of account FOAPAL hierarchies and codes, view grant related information, and search fixed or moveable asset records. This course will also familiarize participants with the Banner Self-Service Finance application to view budget, outstanding encumbrance information, and documentation on various financial transactions.

This training is demonstration with hands-on practice and exercises in a �live� environment to help develop key skills. Participants must have access to the Banner Finance module and Banner Finance Self Service to receive the full benefit of the training, and are asked to bring a current Index number with them to class for use in practical exercises.

If Banner is not used in the performance of their daily duties, participants should review the Banner Navigation Tutorial or Banner Navigation User Manual prior to training to receive the full benefit of the training.

Minimum class size is five (5) participants. Registered participants will be notified prior to class date if minimum is not met and class is to be cancelled.
