Login Questions

I have a NMSU username and password, but for some reason I can't login to Training Central?
Employees are loaded to Training Central nightly from Banner. If your start date is today, please wait 24 hours for your account to be active in Training Central. If you are still unable to log in, contact Training Central by completing the form Training Central Contact Form (Please allow 24 hours for a response) or calling 575.646.7444 (Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM).

What if I don't work for NMSU, how do I login to Training Central?
Go to the Training Central login page at https://trainingcentral.nmsu.edu and click the link Sign up here under "Not an NMSU employee?"

Who do I contact if I have additional questions about logging into Training Central?

 

Evaluations

How do I complete an evaluation of a workshop that I have taken?
Check out the instructions at http://training.nmsu.edu/saba/help/completeval.html

Will I receive an email to remind me to complete an evaluation?
Yes, and in the email there will be a link that you can click that will take you directly to the evaluation after you login to Training Central.


Waiting Lists for Workshops

If I have been placed on a waiting list, I am concerned that there will not be an opening so can I sign up for another session?
Yes, it is a good idea to do so because there is not a guarantee that anyone will drop the course.

If there is an opening in a class in which I have been placed on a waiting list, will I receive an email?
Yes, you will receive an email that requests that you either accept or reject the offered seat. Please note that you will have 5 days to respond to the offered seat email notification. If you don’t respond within 5 days, your registration will be canceled and another learner will be offered the seat.


Online (Web Based Training) Workshops

How do I know if a workshop is online (Web Based Training)?
Online workshops are marked as Web Based Training (WBT). Usually you can see this information beside the words Delivery Type when you view the description of a workshop. Also, you can search for Web Based Trainings in Training Central and a list of courses "Offered As: Web Based Training" will appear.

What special settings do I need to configure for online workshops?
In order to ensure the best experience while taking online workshops in Training Central, turn off Pop-up Blockers and please note the recommended system configurations in Help at http://training.nmsu.edu/saba/help/settings.html
