As part of our vision to promote excellence in our campus community, we facilitate the recognition of faculty, exempt, and non-exempt employees from across our campus for their service, leadership, and for making positive, significant differences in our university and community.
Friends and relatives of the late Ralph B. Crouch, professor of mathematics, head of the Department of Mathematical Sciences and associate dean of the Graduate School, have established an endowment providing for an annual award to honor outstanding contributions to the university. The award alternates between faculty and staff. The recognition includes a cash award.
Presented to New Mexico State University faculty and staff (regular, full-time or part-time) who meet the eligibility criteria of the program as defined in NMSU policy 8.15 Compensation. Service Awards are given for recognition and appreciation of service to the university.
Established in 1983, an annual $1,500 cash award is provided from the Stephen W. and Robert E. Roberts Memorial Endowment fund in recognition of staff providing dedicated, outstanding service to the university. The NMSU Employee Council has the final responsibility for the selection of the recipient for this award.
