In accordance with ARP 6.89, NMSU employees, regardless of hours worked or hiring type, must complete Strategic & Essential Training (SET) certifications as a condition of employment.
Onboarding Training Modules
New Employees (all hiring types)
New employees will be enrolled in the appropriate Annual SET Certification and an Onboarding SET Certification. The Onboarding SET Certification addresses critical “start of employment” information and will have a 14 day completion due date.
The Onboarding SET Certification will include general, start of employment information on the following topics:
- SET Overview
- Computer & Data Security
- FERPA
- Employee Safety & Loss Control
- Introduction to the Office of Institutional Equity (OIE)
