Robert Curr, Intermediate Training Specialist
Robert started teaching EFL in the mid-90s and has worked in higher education training incoming students in academic skills for university since 2011. He has worked in a total of ten different countries across North America, Europe, and several different regions of Asia. These combined experiences have helped him gain a solid understanding of different cultures and peoples of the world.
Holding both an MATESOL and an MS. Ed in Learning Design and Technology, he has had substantial time to ponder how people learn and best practices for learning enhancement. Some of his formal interests include experiential learning, social learning, example-based learning, learner-centered training, accessibility, and educational technology.
Robert’s first time in New Mexico was at the impressionable young age of 14, and New Mexico has literally been a Land of Enchantment ever since. He’s excited to be here at NMSU and work alongside others in this vibrant community.
