Meet the CLPD Staff

 

Dr. Vanetta Busch, Director of CLPD

Dr. Vanetta Busch is originally from Greensboro, NC. Child number 6 out of 7, she comes from a family of Engineers, Educators, and Entrepreneurs. Currently, she has been married for 7 years to William Busch and has a number of kids and grandkids.

With over ten (10) years of experience working in higher education, she has been promoted from being an administrative assistant, to program coordinator, training and development specialist, executive assistant, housing director, and program/project manager-principal consultant. Additionally, she has over fourteen (14) years of experience working in human resources in various industries including non-profit organizations, Bank of America, Amazon, and Global Staffing Agencies.

In 2021, Dr. Busch earned her PhD in Global Leadership: Higher Education. Her dissertation was entitled “Glocal (Global + Local) Human Resources Leaders’ Role, Role Conflict, and Competencies”. Since then, she has designed award – winning leadership programs by using research-based best practices to improve employee performance and development in support strategic initiatives for vice chancellors, deans, executive directors, directors, managers, and employees.
