Ruben Diaz, Senior Training Specialist

Ruben Diaz is a New Mexico native with a passion for lifelong learning. He started his career in education as a middle school science teacher and spent five consecutive years in the classroom before branching into school leadership and instructional coaching roles. He worked in K-12 education for a total of nine years before transitioning into his current role as a Training Specialist at the Center for Learning and Professional Development at NMSU.

  He recently earned his Masters of Arts in Educational Learning        Technologies from NMSU in May, 2021. His expertise lies in            instructional design for asynchronous online, virtual, and face-to-  face learning. Outside of his work,he enjoys gaming, cycling,       and spending time with his wife and their dog.
