Strategic & Essential Training (SET) Program
New Mexico State University is committed to providing a safe and harassment free environment for its students, employees and visitors, as well as equal employment opportunities in all areas of occupation. It is also committed to protecting the assets of the university, students, employees, and individuals connected with the university. A key component in achieving these commitments is ensuring that employees are trained on their responsibilities related to applicable state and federal codes, laws, and regulations.
In accordance with ARP 6.89, NMSU employees, regardless of hours worked or hiring type, must complete the Annual SET Certification as a condition of employment.
Annual SET Modules
The 2024 Annual SET Certification corresponds to the performance evaluation year (calendar year) and includes the following modules.
What’s New for 2024
** Supervisors should continue to use the Team Dashboard in Training Central to monitor the completion of SET. For more information on how to use the Team Dashboard, complete the Using the Training Central Team Dashboard web-based training or visit the Help Documents in Training Central.
