Jagan Butler, Intermediate Training Specialist

Jagan Butler is a University Training Specialist with a strong passion for helping people unleash their full potential. With a focus on personal and professional development, Jagan excels in providing training programs that empower employees to thrive in their roles. His expertise lies in areas such as Time Management, Managing Gossip in the Workplace, Customer Service, Building a Culture of Appreciation, and hosting engaging New Employees Orientations.

In addition to training, Jagan takes pride in managing the Crimson Recognition Programs at NMSU, which encompass service awards, formal recognition, and appreciation activities throughout the NMSU. He actively works on strategies to foster communities of support and has championed the formation of several Employee Resource Groups. These initiatives aim to promote mentoring and cultivate a culture of collaboration and growth within NMSU.

With a solid understanding of organizational design, Jagan is skilled in team building, motivational interviewing, mentoring, and community building. He holds a Master's in Business Administration from NMSU, specializing in Management, which further enhances his expertise in supporting individuals and teams in reaching their goals.

Jagan's commitment to professional development is evident through his certifications. He is a certified 5 Languages of Appreciation trainer, enabling him to promote an environment of gratitude, recognition, and appreciation. In addition, he is a certified Leadership Trainer and continues to grow and build new skills to create impactful training experiences for future NMSU leaders.
